A woman and members of her family allegedly attempted suicide outside Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's residence on Sunday.

The woman alleged that she was raped by a BJP MLA and his accomplices.

''I was raped and I have been running from pillar to post for one year but no one listened to me. I want all of them arrested otherwise I will kill myself,'' he woman said and added that she had even gone to the CM to no result.

''When we lodged FIR we were threatened,'' she further said.

Meanwhile, Rajiv Krishan, ADG, Lucknow zone, said the woman and her family alleged that Kuldeep Singh Sengar raped her and no action was taken. They also claimed that they were beaten up by the other party. However, a probe into the matter revealed that both parties are in a dispute for the past 10-12 years.

Case transferred to Lucknow. Allegations can be proved only after a thorough probe, Krishan further said.
