The incident occurred when the envoy was taking pictures including a selfie near the Red Fort on September 20.

Polikha, who was appointed the ambassador to India last year, said the person snatched his phone and ran away.
The Ukraine ambassador told the police he was alone when the theft occurred at 9:15 am. He added that his driver was waiting with his car.
The Delhi Police say they have formed teams to investigate the incident and have clues.
