'Terrorists should be sent back': Kashmiris, including 4 women, allegedly beaten in Delhi

According to reports, a group of Kashmiris was allegedly thrashed in Delhi's Sunlight Colony last night. The group included five people, including four women, who were beaten up by a mob of nearly 30 people.

The victims maintain that they were targeted because they were Kashmiri.

"My sisters were abused and beaten up. I have a broken left hand and one of my guests who had come to visit us was also attacked. It was a planned attack and the accused were carrying hockey sticks," said one of the victims.

Those targeted reported that the mob kept shouting, 'Kashmiri terrorists should be sent back' while attacking them.

According to a PTI report, the victims had shared that they were attacked twice previously and had been living in fear in the colony.

Another version of the episode, according to reports, suggests that a woman was confronted for regularly feeding stray dogs.

Colony members maintain that the woman started beating herself and they had to stop her while others were carrying sticks to brave the stray dogs.

A police probe has already been initiated and investigations are underway.
