Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita on Monday (Apr 1) hit out at the Centre stating that "the people of the country will answer to this dictatorship."
"If the investigation was over, then why has he been sent to jail? The people of the country will answer to this dictatorship," she said.
Her remarks came after the Rouse Avenue court extended the AAP supremo's judicial custody till April 15.
'Rabri Devi in making'
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri took a jibe at Sunita Kejriwal and compared her with Lalu Yadav's wife, Rabri Devi, who took over as the Bihar CM when her husband was imprisoned in a corruption case.
"A Rabri Devi is in the making. I have already said 3-4 times in the past 7-10 days that 'Rabri Devi' will come forward. I mean to say that Sunita Kejriwal will come forward now," Puri said.

He also took a dig at the AAP chief stating that he could now conduct cabinet meetings inside the jail with his fellow party leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh.
"Can any government-run from behind the bars?... Here is a government which has three ministers already behind bars. They have a quorum, they can have cabinet meetings behind bars," he said.
The latest hearing in the Delhi Court took place after Kejriwal's previous duration of custody granted to the Enforcement Directorate came to an end.
Kejriwal was produced in the court of Special Judge Kaveri Baweja.
The ED sought a 15-day custody and told Judge Baweja that they may require further custody at a later date.
The probe agency told the court that the Aam Aadmi Party chief was "non-cooperative" during the custody and showed an "evasive" attitude with his replies.
"He has deliberately not given passwords to the electronic devices," Additional Solicitor General S. V. Raju, appearing for the ED said.
Speaking to reporters before entering court, the AAP leader said, "Whatever the prime minister is doing (referring to his arrest) is not good for the country".
