Kylian Mbappe to AC Milan instead of Real Madrid? Star footballer gives MAJOR hint on his future

Kylian Mbappe is open to moving to Serie A giants AC Milan in the future, saying his entire family was a fan of the iconic Italian club. Mbappe's admission comes at a time when he is being touted to be bound for Real Madrid in the summer.

Mbappe's transfer saga has been one of the most intriguing storylines in world football in the last few years. After much back-and-forth, Mbappe last month announced he was leaving Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on a free transfer.His next destination is most likely to be the Spanish capital but the comments regarding AC Milan have further stirred the pot.

"When I was a kid, I was a fan of Milan, and I always said that if one day I come to Italy, I am going to play at Milan," Mbappe told Sky Sport Italia.

"So we never know what can happen, but I always watch the Italian league - every game of Milan. Since I was a young kid, I was with a family close to mine, they are big Milan fans, and I was always there as a kid in their house to watch Milan's games. So now I keep watching the games, but we never know what can happen," he added.

While a move to Milan appears a pipe dream at this stage, Milan fans would be happy that one of the biggest footballing stars on the planet prefers their club.

"The only thing I can say is that I watch Serie A, it's a really good league and we see that next year, they're going to have many teams in the Champions League. They improve a lot, and I wish them good luck."

Mbappe to Real Madrid?

Mbappe's contract with PSG expires on June 30 but according to FIFA rules, a player in the final six months of his club contract is free to negotiate with any other club. Multiple reports have claimed that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez had already sealed the deal with Mbappe in the last few months and only some formalities were left to be completed.

Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti has refused to entertain questions regarding Mbappe's move to Bernabeu saying he can only talk about the current Madrid players.

“Kylian Mbappe? I’m only going to comment on my players as they’re very, very good. Vinicius is improving every day, Jude Bellingham immediately understood what it means to be at Real Madrid.”

Madrid are currently concentrating on the UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund, scheduled on June 1 at the Wembley in England. After the continental final, Mbappe's transfer to Madrid could be finalised.
