Sanya Malhotra and Vidya Balan in 'Shakuntala Devi'
A few days after the first look of Vidya Balan as human-computer Shakuntala Devi came out, makers have now released the first look of Sanya Malhotra from the film by the same name.
Sanya’s character is named Anupama Banerji as she sports a very different look, something we haven't seen her in.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the picture on Twitter as he captioned it, “Sanya Malhotra as Anupama Banerji in #ShakuntalaDevi... Based on the life of the mathematical genius, the ‘human computer’ - Shakuntala Devi... Stars Vidya Balan in title role... Directed by Anu Menon... Summer 2020 release.”
Sanya can be seen casually dressed in blue jeans and top with large bangs and there is no sign of usual curly hair.

‘Shakuntala Devi’ went on floors on September 30 in London. Sanya had first shared details of their shooting on Instagram as she wrote, “Super excited to start this new journey.”
Apart from the first look posters, Vidya also shared a teaser of the film which is based on Indian writer and mental calculator, Shakuntala Devi, earlier last month.
The film is produced by Sony Pictures Network Productions and Vikram Malhotra.
It is slated to hit the theatres during summer 2020.
