Mumbai Police are working at a lightening speed to nab the culprits involved in the firing incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's Mumbai apartment on Sunday. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, but several bullets and bullet pellets have been outside the actor's home gallery.

According to the latest reports, Mumbai Police have identified and booked the attackers for attempted murder and violations of the Arms Act. The attackers' bike has also been seized by police officials.

For those unaware, the incident took place around 5 am outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. The attackers fired four rounds in the air and then fled the scene. Salman was at home when the incident took place.

Raj Tilak Roushan, DCP Mumbai, told news agency ANI, "Today at around 5 am, two unidentified people opened fire outside the house of actor Salman Khan in Bandra. Police have received information about 3 rounds of firing. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway in the case. No one was injured in the firing incident."

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde spoke to Salman and the Mumbai Police Commissioner after the incident. A case has been registered against the assailants under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3(25) of the Arms Act.

According to News18, the shooters are from outside Maharashtra and authorities have formed 15 police teams to track them down and apprehend them.

Meanwhile, Salman's father, Salim Khan, spoke to CNN-News18 and said, "There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity, there is no need to worry."
