Protest trucks demanding Suga's removal from BTS spotted in Seoul, ARMY calls it 'meaningless'

K-pop star Suga is facing a lot of backlash over his drunk driving incident. Following this, an army of anti-fans has been demanding the pop star's removal from the group. Now as a part of the protest, several trucks have been seen aroundSeoul, calling for Suga's withdrawal from the group.

As per Koreaboo, the protest trucks are seen on different routes in South Korea's capital. The truck was seen in front of HYBE, Nine One Hannam, Gangnam Station, and Banpo Bus Terminal, among other places.

The message displayed on one of the trucks reportedlyread, "Told his fans to be confident, came back to them with a DUI.''

The second message read, ''Drunk driver Suga, D-Day to leave the group is today.''

The third message read, ''7-1=6. ARMYs Will Complete The Group. Drunk Driver Suga OUT.”

Demanding Suga to step out of the group, the message on the truck reads, “Kick Suga Out of BTS. We Do Not Need A Criminal Who Deceives Fans#RootForBTSSugaWithdrawing”

As per an Xaccount named idoitsueit, the private campaign was running to raise funds for the next protest.

The post shared on X read, ''We have reached the target amount for the fundraiser and have closed it. Thank you to everyone who participated in the campaign, even though it was kept private. Starting tomorrow, the truck and the flower wreath campaigns will take place together. During the campaigns, we’ll have a staff managing the flower wreaths, and the trucks will be circulating around the bustling areas of Seoul even on the weekend. We appreciate your interest and support!"

Before this, wreaths with flowerswere being sent to HYBE headquarters asking Suga to step down or be removed from the famous group of seven.

Soon after protest trucks went viral on the internet, ARMY was quick to defend the BTS member.

A person wrote, "This is the most absurd thing I've seen in a while. Sending trucks is meaningless when the police is doing their investigation. Don't do something just because you want to."

Another wrote, ''I understand that u can’t release a statement yet until the whole investigation is over. But what about the useless trucks/wreaths? Those are roaming around and within the parameters of ur premises,and u still won’t lift a finger?''

Another person wrote, "You don’t understand, he is everything to me."

BTS member Suga has found himself in the middle of the controversy afterhe was caught riding an electric scooter by the policewhile intoxicated on August 6near the Nine One Hannam apartment building.
