<p>As per an X&nbsp;account named idoitsueit, the private campaign was running to raise funds for the next protest.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The post shared on X read, ''We have reached the target amount for the fundraiser and have closed it. Thank you to everyone who participated in the campaign, even though it was kept private. Starting tomorrow, the truck and the flower wreath campaigns will take place together. During the campaigns, we’ll have a staff managing the flower wreaths, and the trucks will be circulating around the bustling areas of Seoul even on the weekend. We appreciate your interest and support!"</p>

<p>Ann Suwanan, a 19-year-old from Thailand, was sad that she, like Pavelchack, was not going to get the chance to hug Jin.</p>

<p>"I wanted to hug him so much," she told AFP.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Wearing a purple tulle dress and a big purple bow in her hair, she said she "cried a bit" with joy when Jin was discharged.</p>

<p>Hector Sosa, a 40-year-old father, said he had flown from Mexico to Seoul to accompany his adoring ARMY member daughter.</p>

<p>"My daughter is a fan of theirs and we came for her birthday as a present," he said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"We landed at 5:00 am today in South Korea and came straight here."</p>

BTS members share heartfelt letters for the ARMY to mark 10th anniversary

<p>BTS will turn 10 on June 13, 2023, and ahead of the big day, Jimin has dropped a new track for their millions of fans, who have already started the big celebration. Things are a bit different this year, as this will be the first time that all seven members will not participate in the annual event.</p>

<p>On Wednesday, the rapper shared a live clip of his new song ''Dear Army" from his solo album "Face ''. The song is a hidden track from his solo debut album.</p>

<p>In the clip, the 27-year-old star is sitting in greenery as he sings the song dedicated to their beloved army.</p>

<p>"What should I say, and how should I say it?" the excerpt from ''Dear ARMY'' reads. "I'm not very good at it. I know it seems cliche, but I'll try not to sound too lighthearted when I say these things. Oh, I want you to be happy, I say. When I stumbled and fell, you gave your hand to me".</p>

<p>The company's share price fell nearly 25 per cent when the market opened the day after the announcement, wiping nearly 2 trillion won ($1.5 billion) off its value.</p>

<p>"We referred the three officials, one of whom is a team leader, to the prosecution with the opinion that they should be indicted," the watchdog said.</p>

<p>The watchdog also criticised HYBE for making the&nbsp;market-moving announcement in a YouTube video rather than an official statement or regulatory filing, which they said had "aggravated&nbsp;investors' confusion".</p>

<p>Entertainment agencies should have a system where important information for investors is made public "transparently and through a right channel", it said.</p>

<p>While BTS cited exhaustion as a reason for its decision to suspend group activity, many analysts said the hiatus was strategic, with South Korea's mandatory 18-month military service looming for individual band members.</p>

<p>All South Korean able-bodied men under the age of 30 must perform around two years of military service, mainly because the country remains technically at war with nuclear-armed North Korea.</p>

<p>Two of the celebrity septet's members, Jin and J-Hope, enlisted in the army in December 2022 and&nbsp;April this year respectively, with the remaining five expected to follow in the years -- or months -- ahead.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>New pictures of BTS' J-Hope from the military camp are all over the internet. In the viral pictures, the K-pop star, who enlisted in the military on April 18, is sporting a buzz cut and posing with his fellow trainees.</p>

<p>J-Hope, whose real name is Jeong Ho-Seok, is serving at the&nbsp;36th Infantry Division’s&nbsp;Baekho New Corps&nbsp;where he's receiving basic military training.</p>

<p>The new set of photos that have gone viral shows J-Hope wearing an army uniform and is holding a gun. In another photo, he can be seen having lunch with his fellow trainees.</p>

<p>Sporting a military buzz cut, he's giving a thumbs-up with a soft smile on his face.&nbsp;The photos were shared via the official military app, The Camp. As per Koreaboo, the app provides photos of military trainees.&nbsp;<br />

For the unversed, each soldier has to undergo six weeks of basic military training.&nbsp;</p>

<p>YG Entertainment, the agency of the K-pop band BLACKPINK, is planning to take legal action against those who are spreading fake rumours about one of the band members, Rose. The agency released a public statement reacting to all the online rumours resurfacing about the main vocalist of the band Rose's alleged drug abuse.<br />

Rebutting all the talks doing the rounds, the agency said in the statement: “It is revealed that the rumours related to BLACKPINK Rosé that is spreading in some online communities and social media are clearly false information.''<br />

Further adding, the agency informed that they are planning to take legal action.<br />

The statement reads, ''We are taking legal action against acts that violate the human rights of and defame our agency artist. We are currently monitoring those who created and spread the rumours, and will take strong legal action in the future without any leniency or settlement.”</p>

BTS make record with historic number of album copies sold in Japan

<p>A member of world's number one K-Pop band BTS, Jungkook--who celebrated his 24th birthday earlier this month--has received a rather unique gift from his fan and Filipino actor Arci Muñoz, also known as Ramona Thornes.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, the gift is not anywhere near where the star lives: it is one square foot of land and located in Scotland.</p>
