Netflix's 'The Half Of It' wins big at Tribeca Film Festival 2020

Coronavirus Pandemic has affected many annual events, and like other events, Tribeca Film Festival could not take place as it was planned. The jury members from sitting in their homes viewed the films online and voted for their favourite
As this year, Netflix’s 'The Half of It' emerged out as a big winner as the movie took the award for Best Narrative Feature.
Netflix movie is directed by Alice Wu, which tells the story of ashy, introvertstudent who helps the school jock woo a girl whom, secretly, they both want.
“We are fortunate that technology allowed for our jury to come together this year to honour our filmmakers,” said Tribeca Film Festival co-founder and CEO Jane Rosenthal.

Other major awards went to the Polish film “The Hater” for Best International Narrative Feature, and “Socks on Fire” for Best Documentary. Steve Zahn and Assol Abdullina won the U.S. Best Actor and Actress awards.
Earlier, the event was planned to take place from April 15 to April 26 in New York City.
