Dua Lipa made a bold fashion statement at the Time100 Gala, which took place in New York City on Thursday, April 25. The event celebrated the release of their list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World of 2024. Other celebrities who attended the event were Kylie Minogue, Brittany Mahomes, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Dev Patel and Billy Porter among others.

Inspired by look 43 from Chanel's Métiers d’art 2023/24 collection, Dua's white floral guipure lacy dress was embroidered with crystals and aluminium rings. The highlight of the gown was its daring neckline and a black bow featuring a white resin embellishment.

To accessorise, she picked a few dainty diamond rings along with a diamond strand necklace. For her makeup and hair, she decided to keep things subtle and opted for her signature glam look.

At the event, Dua met Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana and posed for the lens. The actor looked dapper in a black ensemble, featuring large shoulder pads. Sharing pictures from the event, hewrote, "It is the @time of the disruptors! Honoured to be a part of the #TIME100 Gala this year and having met the most brilliant minds and artistes of our generation (sic)." Check it out below!

During her Time100 interview, Dua spoke about her upcoming album Radical Optimism, which will release on May 3. She said, "The record as a whole is more mature. I'm definitely not the same person I was when I wrote my first album. I've evolved and learned so much… taking it as it comes, not seeing anything as bad or something as a setback. That involves a lot of growing and understanding myself, knowing my worth, whether it be in business, love, or friendship."

On the movie front, Dua made her onscreen debut in Greta Gerwig's Barbie, released in 2023. She was later seen in the action comedy Argyle.
