Chris Hemsworth, 40, recently opened up about the unique way he and his wife, Elsa Pataky, balance their professional and personal lives. During an interview at the UK premiere of their upcoming film, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, on May 17, the actor revealed that working together on sets often feels like a special date night for them.

"It's like date night for us," Hemsworth told People. "With three kids at home, sometimes work becomes a way for us to spend quality time together, even if it's on set."

Hemsworth expressed that acting alongside Pataky means the world to him. "I love it. I love spending time with her, especially in a creative environment," he shared.

For the Snow White & the Huntsman actor, these moments on set are vital for their relationship and family. "As parents, you try to find time for each other. Sometimes the film set is the only place we get those moments, and I'll take what I can get," he admitted.

In Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Hemsworth takes on the role of Dr. Dementus, the leader of the Biker Horde, while Pataky portrays the Vulvalini General. The couple, who have been together for over two decades, share three children: daughter India Rose, 12, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, 10.

This isn't the first time the pair has shared the screen. Pataky appeared alongside Hemsworth in the 2022 film Thor: Love and Thunder as a Wolf Woman.

Hemsworth has previously spoken about the challenges and rewards of parenting. In a 2023 interview with GQ, he reflected on how having children has impacted their marriage. "It feels like we got to know each other halfway through our relationship, five or six years ago, in a beautiful way," he said. "Once our kids were out of nappies, things became a bit more manageable."

The Australian actor also praised Pataky for her unwavering support and dedication. "Her sacrifice, commitment, work, support, and forgiveness have been incredible throughout our relationship," he added.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is set to hit theatres on May 24.
