Lady Gaga is here with some new music.

The songstress debuted her new single and it's called Disease. The song is an electro-pop about curing a lover’s disease. The song has an upbeat track which is written by Michael Polansky, Lady Gaga, Andrew Watt and Cirkut. The latter three are also involved with the production of the song.

The single “Disease” is the first from Lady Gaga’s seventh studio album, which she first teased back in July. She confirmed the same in September, ahead of the premiere of her recent film, Joker: Folie aDeux with Joaquin Phoenix.

In the song, you hear Gaga sing: “I could play the doctor / I can cure your disease. If you were a sinner / I could make you believe / Lay you don’t like 1, 2, 3 / Eyes roll back in ecstasy / I can smell your sickness / I can cure ya / Cure your disease.”

Meanwhile, Gaga’s new album is due spring of 2025.

Speaking of her new album to Vogue, Gaga said, “I feel like this new album, in a lot of ways, is about that time but from a place of happiness instead of misery.”

Apart from this, Gaga has been busy with promotions of Joker: Folie à Deux. The film has however underperformed at the box office. She also released a surprise companion album for Joker dubbed Harlequin. It was inspired by her character in the film.

The album consisted of songs like “Get Happy,” “That’s Life” and “That’s Entertainment”.

Lady Gaga’s last full-length effort was 2020’s Chromatica, which became her sixth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 upon its release.
