Telugu veteran star Chiranjeevi is set to return in a striking new avatar with Kaaka, his upcoming action entertainer directed by Bobby Kolli. On the occasion of his birthday, the makers unveiled the film’s title and first glimpse, offering a peek at two contrasting shades of the veteran star.
First glimpse of Chiranjeevi's Kaaka
The first glimpse introduces Chiranjeevi as K Satyam, a middle-aged supervisor at Ammaji Aqua Industries. At first, Satyam appears to be a simple and respected man who shares a warm relationship with his daughter and his colleagues.

The stark contrast between the two appearances has sparked curiosity about whether the actor is playing two different characters or portraying contrasting phases or identities within the story.
All about Kaaka
Chiranjeevi’s next film, previously known as Mega158, has officially been titled Kaaka. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film marks the actor and filmmaker’s second collaboration after Waltair Veerayya.
The film stars Anaswara Rajan in a key role, with Nivetha Pethuraj and other actors also part of the cast. S Thaman is composing the music, while Vijay Karthik Kannan handles cinematography.
Produced by KVN Productions, Kaaka is slated to arrive in theatres worldwide on January 13, 2027, making it one of the major releases lined up for the Sankranthi season.
Chiranjeevi's latest released film is the action-comedy blockbuster Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, which hit the theatres on January 12, 2026. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the movie also features Nayanthara, Catherine Tresa, and a special appearance by Venkatesh.
