Panday's Call Me Bae premiered on September 6 earlier this year. It was a huge hit, garnering rave reviews from both the audience and critics.

A few weeks after the show's premiere, Amazon Prime Video announced the exciting news of the show's revival. Sharing the news, the streaming giant wrote, "Our day couldn’t get any bae-tter, Bella is coming to swoon us over again with a new season. #CallMeBaeOnPrime, S2 in development."

There is no information available on season 2.

The show revolved around Ananya playing Bella AKA Bae, a girl born with a golden spoon in a Delhi-based wealthy family. However, her life turns upside down as she is left with nothing after her family learns about her extra-marital affair. However, this sudden shift in her life turned out to be a life-changing moment as she went on to explore herself and find a new path.

Directed by Colin D'Cunha, this comedy-drama was created by Ishita Moitra, Rohit Nair, and Samina Motlekar.

Apart from Ananya, the cast includes Gurfateh Pirzada, Muskkaan Jaferi, Varun Sood, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Vihaan Samat, Vir Das, Riya Sen, Mini Mathur, Suchitra Pillai, Karishma Tanna, Sayani Gupta, and others.

WION's review on Call Me Bae reads, ''First things first, it’s a visually stunning series, where apt attention has been paid to sets and Bae’s costumes. The aesthetic aspects are all in place with the addition of viral-worthy songs. But the story never fully feels convincing. It’s partly because it all seems extremely easy for Bae -or if she would’ve put it, the struggles aren’t struggling at all.''
