Prachi Desai on her equation with Manoj Bajpayee on the sets of Silence 2

Prachi Desai was most recently seen in Manoj Bajpayee led show Silence 2. Playing a cop yet again in the second season of the popular show, the actress spoke about her character, how the role has evolved with time and her equation with Manoj Bajpayee.

Talking toWION, Prachi spoke about her fuss-free role in Silence 2 as inspector Sanjana Bhatia. She said, “I loved every bit of playing Inspector Sanjana Bhatia in both the outings. In the first she is focused and sharp, although younger and does show her wit every now and then.”

When asked how Sanjana reacts to more ownership to the story in second season of the show, Prachi said, “I enjoyed the unspoken subtle sense of maturity in her as well.”

Meanwhile, she has a sweet equation with Manoj Bajpayee in Silence.Reflecting on how it changes in both seasons, Prachi said, “In the first part we were new to ACP Avinash so there was a sense of rawness to the equation, and slight hesitation which is purely out of respect whilst getting acquainted with a superior who is highly looked up to. In the sequel however the camaraderie among us all is indelible, there is a great sense of comfort and we work in tandem at the SCU (Special Crime Unit)."

Prachi's most memorable moments from Silence 2

Prachi also recounted many memorable on-set moments she shared with her co-stars. She said, “Being on the sets of Silence 2 along with my co-stars was a lot of fun. During lunch break, the entire cast would sit together and eat together as a family. Not gonna lie, sometimes it was tough keeping up with the boys' appetite. I had an absolute blast shooting for the film.”
