All the Indian fans of artists like Shawn Mendes and Green Day can rejoice as they are set to headline Lollapalooza India‘s third edition. Lollapalooza has built itself as a huge brand pulling international and local acts across multiple genres.

The festival for 2025 is scheduled in the city of Mumbai.

Lollapalooza 2025 India: What to expect

Punk-rock veterans Green Day will make their India debut with this festival. As for Shawn Mendes, with this headlining act, he will return to the live stage after a gap of two years. Post the Indian act, he will also headline Lollapalooza Brasil and Lollapalooza Argentina.

Green Day, the five-time Grammy Award winners, took to their Instagram handle, announcing that they'll be headlining Lollapalooza India 2025. “Another first for us!! India, you’ve been calling our name... and it’s finally time to answer. We’ll see you in Mumbai next March for @LollaIndia (yo emoji),” they wrote.

Shawn Mendes also teased the news on social media and wrote, “So excited @lollaindia (red heart emojis).”

Lollapalooza 2025 India lineup will also include Louis Tomlinson, Glass Animals, Zedd, John Summit and Nothing But Thieves. There will also be gigs from Outkast’s Big Boi and Indian rapper Hanumankind, Cory Wong, Aurora, Alok and Raftaar x Kr$na.

The festival will feature four stages with over 20 hours of live performances. 

Expect all kinds of music from pop, rock, hip-hop, EDM and techno.

Lollapalooza India 2025 is scheduled for March 8-9, 2025.
