After Elon Musk’s Tesla Roadster was successfully mounted atop SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy and launched into space, the vehicle is now reported to have travelled farther out into the Solar System.
Musk'sTesla Roadster was originally supposed to be around the Sun and travel to the Marsorbit. The rocket carrying the car is reported to have overshot the trajectory going on to an orbit that extends beyond the Marspath.
According to SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, the vehicle may make it to the asteroid belt.

Tesla Roadster will be at its closest to Mars in October of 2020.
