Amid heightened trade tensions with the US over tariffs, Chinese leader Xi Jinping called for stronger industrial and supply chain cooperation with Vietnam and wider collaboration in emerging fields. This as Xi kickstarted his first overseas trip of the year to Southeast Asia as part of the three-nation trip. The Chinese leader is visiting Vietnam.
