The United Kingdom has appointed its first woman High Commissioner to India Lindy Cameron said she's expected to assume her new role later. This month her appointment comes at a time when India and the UK are negotiating a Free Trade Agreement both sides have expressed intent and interest in wrapping up the negotiations by the end of the year.
