UK: Apple has lost a landmark antitrust case in the UK, with a tribunal ruling that the company’s 30% commission on App Store sales is excessive and unfair. The Competition Appeal Tribunal found Apple abused its dominant market position by imposing unlawful fees, affecting about 36 million UK users and potentially exposing the company to damages of around £1.5 billion.
