Rubio Says 'No Country' Supports Imposing Fee In Hormuz Strait

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has wrapped up a key Middle East tour aimed at reassuring Gulf allies over Washington's preliminary peace accord with Iran.
Meeting Gulf Cooperation Council foreign ministers in Bahrain, Rubio stressed that any long-term agreement with Tehran would take regional security concerns into account. However, Gulf states reportedly voiced serious reservations, demanding greater transparency and involvement in shaping the accord.
With Iran having disrupted shipping through the Strait of Hormuz during the conflict, concerns over maritime security, oil flows and regional stability continue to dominate discussions.
