Pakistan news: 2 PIA staffers arrested | Gold smuggling attempt foiled at airport
In a major smuggling bust, Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested two PIA employees at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport. The suspects were caught attempting to smuggle 7.7kg of gold worth millions of rupees. The gold was seized in a joint operation with Airport Security Force (ASF). Authorities suspect a wider smuggling network may be involved.
