Nepal Suspends Job Approvals For West Asian Nations

Nepal has suspended the issuance of labour approvals (work permits) for foreign employment to 12 Middle Eastern and Gulf countries amid escalating tensions in West Asia following the ongoing US-Israel-Iran conflict. The decision was taken by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security in view of deteriorating security conditions in the region, and will remain in effect until further notice.
