Hollywood filmmaker Carl Rinsch, best known for 47 Ronin, has been sentenced to 2.5 years in prison after defrauding Netflix of $11 million meant for an unfinished sci-fi series. Prosecutors said he spent the money on luxury cars, watches, designer goods, and even $638,000 on two mattresses. Rinsch cited mental health struggles and apologized in court, but was ordered to serve prison time and repay nearly $11 million.
