Historic marine biodiversity pact signed to preserve and reverse biome losses

A historic U.N biodiversity treaty has been signed and ratified by negotiators from over a hundred countries. The U.N Global high seas biodiversity pact has been a long-awaited step that environmental groups claim will not only preserve marine biodiversity but also help reverse the biome losses.
