A 40-hour-long daring operation carried out by the Indian Navy has freed MV Ruen from Somali Pirates. The vessel was hijacked in December, taken to Somalia and turned into a mother pirate ship. Indian Navy has successfully evacuated all 17 crew members from the pirates' clutches, taken 35 pirates into custody. What were the other navies doing? Were they afraid to fight the Somali pirates at sea?
