Al-Sharaa, U.S. Envoy Seal Syria-Kurd Truce with Ceasefire

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa met U.S. Special Envoy Tom Barrack in Damascus following the announcement of a truce between the Syrian government and Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The 14-point deal includes an immediate ceasefire, ending weeks of clashes, with SDF integration into national forces and government takeover of key areas like oil fields, dams, and border crossings.
