Al-Sharaa Becomes the First Syrian President in Six Decades, Addresses UN
UNGA: Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa made history on Wednesday by delivering an address to the United Nations General Assembly, becoming the first Syrian leader in nearly sixty years to speak at the world stage. Al-Sharaa met with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
