The Israeli military has launched targeted airstrikes on Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, hitting what it claims were Houthi military facilities — including the presidential palace, fuel storage sites, and power plants. The move comes in retaliation for recent missile and drone attacks by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels against Israeli territory. At least two people are confirmed dead, with several injured.
Houthi officials say the attacks won’t stop their support for Gaza, vowing to continue “no matter the sacrifices.” Is this a widening of the Gaza conflict into a broader regional war?
