<p>Before the cremation, the singer's pet dogs were brought by his family on Monday to bid farewell to him. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma took to his X handle and shared a video. <h2>Why was second autopsy of Zubeen Garg conducted?</h2><p>The first autopsy was conducted in Singapore. As per reports, the post mortem took place at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital on Tuesday in the presence of a team of expert doctors from AIIMS. The autopsy was conducted at 7:30 am and then the it was later taken to Sarusajai Stadium. <p>After an <a href="http://www.wionews.com/entertainment/assamese-singer-zubeen-garg-booked-for-allegedly-abusing-the-bharat-ratna-193638">FIR has been filed</a> against Assamese singer Zubeen Garg who allegedly abused the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award, he has now opened up on his stance.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a lengthy post shared on his Facebook profile, Zubeen wrote: “I have never betrayed anyone, never destroyed anyone, never deprived - then when it comes to me, why you try to tear me apart! You can't. I m strong. I stand on my own. I never begged. What I became I became on my own. What I had I gave all to my own people.”</p>

<p>Addressing the issue of his voice appearing in a clip that abuses Bharat Ratna, he wrote: “Yes that was my voice. I don't deny. I have that courage to say. Yes, I said it. But why I said it? Why after 8 years they will use his name to motivate us politically? Why this sudden love? He is beyond that. He lives with us. He should have got it 10 years back when he was alive. When he was alone, who stood with him?”</p>

<p>He questioned the government on why this was being given to the late legend after his death? He indicated in his post that it was the government’s way of wooing the people so that they don’t protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill. He further wrote, “You should know it. Bhupen Mama is a gift, not a tool to be used for their political motivation. It can never be about Bhupen Mama, it is neither about Bharat Ratna. It is all about the politics behind that.”</p>

<p>An FIR was filed at the Lanka Police Station by BJP’s state unit vice president Satya Ranjan Borah who said that this was ‘disrespecting’ and ‘insulting’ country’s highest civilian award and “hurting the sentiments” of people of India.</p>

<p>He also wrote that he is honest in his work and doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone. He said, “But I hate the dogs barking behind me. I m the tiger. I will be like that. And if you hate me this way, let me leave Assam. I can stay anywhere.”</p>

Yes, I said it. But why I said it? Why after 8 years they will use his name to motivate us politically? Why this sudden love? He is beyond that. He lives with us. He should have got it 10 years back when he was alive. When he was alone, who stood with him?” He questioned the government on why this was being given to the late legend after his death? <p>Zubeen, of the song ‘Ya Ali’ fame from the film ‘Gansgter’ was heard in a clip allegedly abusing the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award. This, when it was recently awarded to Assamese legend Bhupen Hazarika, posthumously for his contribution to Indian music.</p>

<p>An FIR has been filed by Satya Ranjan Borah, a BJP functionary in Lanka, Hojai district of Assam.</p>

<p>Hojai’s Superintendent of Police, Ankur Jain told HT: “We have registered an FIR and investigating the short audio clip said to be in Garg’s voice. In the viral clip, the Bharat Ratna has been abused.”</p>

<p>There is, however, no video evidence of the event at which Garg was heard allegedly abusing the Bharat Ratna, confirmed the police.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Garg has also been publicly opposing the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill. In a new song in protest to the move, he says ‘<em>Politics </em><em>na</em><em> </em><em>karibo</em><em> Bandhu</em>...(meaning do not do politics my friend).<br />
