<p>In May 2022, Ronald Moultrie and Scott Bray, two top officials of the Pentagon appeared before the subcommittee and showed the declassified UFO videos.&nbsp;</p>

<p>They said that reports of UFOs are 'frequent' and have been on the rise for more than a decade. They also added that US officials were unable to explain some of these sightings.</p>

No portions of the videos can be segregated for release,” said Gregory Cason, deputy director of the Navy's FOIA office.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Despite the US government's unwillingness, a pandora's box of questions, assertions and conspiracies has opened up after the meeting.</p>

<p>While UAPs are certainly a yardstick to gauge if alien life exists out there, space agencies such as NASA are on the lookout for exoplanets to find other life forms. Currently, there are around 4,000 exoplanets in our galaxy alone which makes the quest all the more exciting.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Since our solar system (4.5 billion years) is relatively new compared to the universe's age (13.8 billion), physicist Enrico Fermi had in 1950 posited that given enough time, alien civilisations should have been able to cross our neighbourhood. It is&nbsp;a paradox that takes into equation that we haven't been visited by these aliens. However, if the 'guests' have paid a visit&nbsp;and the US government has remained secretive all this time, it changes our understanding of the universe.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Attorney Sam Heidari, who has been hired by the family to sue any intruders, stated that people have taken extreme steps of climbing the walls and flying drones over the house.</p>

<p>"They don't have any aliens in the storage or anywhere, so don't try to climb up the walls or send a drone," said Attorney Heidari, while speaking to 8 News Now.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He further warned that intruders are taking the risk of approaching the house, which he called a gun-wielding household, adding, "There is a possibility of injury if they get in because this family is armed."&nbsp;</p>

US: Cops install surveillance cameras at Las Vegas home after UFO landing, aliens sighting claim

<p>Pentagon whistleblower David Grusch, in some more baffling claims, said that the Vatican was fully aware of non-human intelligence's existence and that it assisted the United States in retrieving a UFO, which was downed and was in possession of Italian dictator Benito Mussolini when the Second World War was at its end.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Making some shocking revelations, Grusch stated that a top-secret UFO retrieval programme was run by the United States for decades and added that the 'Vatican was involved' in the first-ever crash of a UFO, as per media reports.</p>

<p>Grusch stated that the UFO's first recovery took place in Magenta, Italy in 1933. He added that the UFO was in possession of Italian dictator Mussolini's government until 1944-1945 when America was tipped off about it by Pope Pius XII.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He added that the UFO was partially intact and was kept at a secure airbase until it was retrieved by the US after the fascist Italian regime's collapse.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"1933 was the first recovery in Europe, in Magenta, Italy. They recovered a partially intact vehicle, and the Italian government moved it to a secure airbase in Italy until around 1944-1945. <p>"We have 50 to 100-ish new reports each month," stated Sean Kirkpatrick, director of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). He added that only 2 per cent to 5 per cent of the sightings collected in the database are "possibly really anomalous”.<br />
<br />
During the public meeting, a video taken by a naval aircraft was shared which showed a series of dots slowly moving across the night sky in the United States. The object was not intercepted by the military plane and it later turned out to be a commercial aircraft which was flying towards a major airport.<br />
<br />
However, some sightings remain more mysterious. A report published by Pentagon in 2021 had stated that out of 144 sightings noted by military pilots since 2004, one remained unexplained. Officials have not rejected the possibility of objects being extra-terrestrial.<br />
<br />
The head of the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office stated said that they cannot rule out the existence of intelligent alien life but that no sighting till now has been observed which can be considered as evidence of extraterrestrial origins.</p>

<h2><strong>Privacy limits investigations of NASA</strong></h2>

<p>Kirkpatrick further stated that privacy concerns have been limiting the investigations carried out by the agency. "We can point the largest collection apparatus in the entire globe at any point we want," he stated.</p>

<p>"A lot of what we have is around the continental United States. Most people...don't like it when we point our entire collection apparatus at your backyard,” he added.</p>

Pentagon: 'No credible evidence' of aliens yet, but tracking over 650 potential UFO cases

<p>A "mysterious" spiral was spotted in Alaska as aurora watchers and photographers were intrigued to see the huge bluish-white shape in the sky early morning on Saturday (April 15). The shape looked mesmerising with the northern lights in the background.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The images and videos went viral on social media platforms, with people speculating what is it but scientists from The Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks have said that the mysterious shape, which later faded away, could be linked to a SpaceX rocket launch that took place earlier on that day in California.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As quoted by the Independent, geophysicist Don Hampton said: "We learned that SpaceX had launched one of their Falcon 9 rockets into a polar orbit about two hours earlier, and watching a replay of their live feed showed the trajectory going right over Alaska."&nbsp;</p>

The images and videos went viral on social media platforms, with people speculating what is it but scientists from The Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks have said that the mysterious shape, which later faded away, could be linked to a SpaceX rocket launch that took place earlier on that day in California. As quoted by the Independent, geophysicist Don Hampton said: "We learned that SpaceX had launched one of their Falcon 9 rockets into a polar orbit about two hours earlier, and watching a replay of their live feed showed the trajectory going right over Alaska." <p>The American-made AIM-9X Sidewinder is a heat-seeking missile and has been one of the most widely used air-to-air missile types in aerial warfare for the last three decades.</p>

<p>It was first introduced in the 1950s, as the AIM-9 Sidewinder, and it has evolved over time. It is believed that the AIM-9X Sidewinder greatly influenced the design of most of the modern heatseekers, thanks to espionage efforts by China and the erstwhile Soviet Union during the Cold War.</p>

<p>In the aftermath of the Chinese balloon fiasco and shooting yet-to-be-known aerial object, the air-to-air missile has once again come to the spotlight.</p>

<p>The missile is made by Virginia-based Raytheon Technologies Corp. This weaponry has been in the US arsenal for decades. While the weapons are primarily manufactured for US forces, the missile is also sold in large quantities to a range of American allies.</p>

<p>According to Raytheon, it is currently being sold to 31 foreign military partners, including countries like South Korea, the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia.</p>

<p>Though primarily an air-to-air weapon, the latest AIM-9X version can also be used from the ground and against land-based targets. It is widely deployable in a range of modern aircraft including the F-16 Fighting Falcon and F-22 Raptor aircrafts.</p>

<p>This versatility has allowed the missile to break records by helping the advanced F-22 fighter jet score its first air-to-air kill.</p>

<p>US has not revealed the number of missiles it has, but it is believed to be on the higher side as according to Bloomberg, the US Air Force received its 100,000th such missile in 2021.</p>

<p>According to Bloomberg, the US Department of Defence is looking to purchase 255 such missiles for $111.9 million for the 2023 financial year. Which means that a missile costs about $439,000 each.</p>

<p>However, some countries have purchased in significant discounts while other countries usually pay for associated equipment, parts and training costs as well.</p>

<p>For example, Malaysia sought to procure just 20 AIM-9X-2 missiles for $52 million in 2011, after including such secondary costs.</p>

<p>The AIM-9X Sidewinder is a supersonic, heat-seeking, short-range missile. Among the main components are: an infrared homing guidance section, an active optical target detector, a high-explosive warhead and a rocket motor.</p>

<p>Weighing around 186-pound (84 kg), this killing missile is powered by solid fuel, and it has a length of 9.9 feet (3 meters).</p>
