<p>It is reported that more such legal notices will be sent to other former players who often cross their line, on their respective Youtube channels,&nbsp;while criticising the national side's performances.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Some of them clearly cross the line while criticising the team, management, board and chairman and Ramiz has made it clear he is not going to tolerate anyone running down or defaming Pakistan cricket anymore,” the source further added.</p>

<p>Over the years, the likes of Shoaib Akhtar, Danish Kaneria, Salman Butt, etc. remain vocal on various aspects pertaining to Pakistan cricket and do not mince their words when commenting on the team's performances. However, it seems PCB is in no mood to take all this lightly anymore and will take stern actions if any comment is deemed&nbsp;defamatory, offensive, personal, false and damaging to Pakistan cricket.</p>

<p>It was no repeat of 1992 as England thrashed Pakistan by five wickets in the final to win the T20 World Cup 2022 title at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Melbourne on Sunday. Ben Stokes slammed an unbeaten half-century to help England chase down the low-key target of 138 runs with an over to spare and lift their second T20 World Cup trophy with a comprehensive win.</p>

<p>Stokes, who hadn't played much international cricket in the build-up to the World Cup, once again rose to the occasion&nbsp;in a big game for the reigning ODI World Cup champions and proved why he is regarded as one of the best all-rounders in the world.</p>

<p>In pursuit of the 138-run target, England were reeling at 45/3 at one stage in the run chase after losing their top three quick successions before Stokes steadied the ship for Buttler's men.&nbsp;He allowed others to go after the bowlers while holding the fort on one end.</p>

<p>Stokes added 39 runs for the fourth wicket with Harry Brook (20) before sharing a crucial 48-run stand for the fifth wicket with Moeen Ali (19). The left-hander took his time in settling down but seamlessly shifted gears in the death overs to take England home comfortably.</p>

<p>Shaheen Shah Afridi got Pakistan off to a flying start with the ball in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) as he cleaned up England opener Alex Hales with a cracking delivery. Afridi struck in the very first over of England's run-chase to draw the first blood for Pakistan.</p>

<p>In pursuit of the 138-run target at the MCG, England got off to a stuttering start as Hales departed cheaply after scoring just 1 run off two deliveries. The half-centurion from the semi-final against India was bamboozled by a stunning delivery from Afridi in the first over.</p>

<p>It was a brilliant inswinger from Afridi bowled at good length which completely deceived Hales before shattering his stumps leaving the England opener stunned.</p>

<p>Former spinner&nbsp;Mushtaq&nbsp;Ahmed&nbsp;believes that England's cricketers would happily tour Pakistan and says his country deserved better having travelled the other way at the height of the pandemic.</p>

<p>Ahmed, who has a foot in both camps after serving as England's spin-bowling coach in 2009-2015, voiced his frustration to AFP after English cricket chiefs controversially cancelled tours for their men's and women's teams next month to cricket-crazy Pakistan.</p>

<p>The first trip by the England men's side to Pakistan since 2005 was only meant to last four days with two Twenty20 matches in Rawalpindi.</p>

<p>But the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) last week cited "increasing concerns about travelling to the region", days after New Zealand abandoned their tour of Pakistan minutes before the start of the first one-day international in Rawalpindi, citing a security alert.</p>

<p>The ECB decision was met with fury in Pakistan which only went up a notch after the Daily Mail newspaper reported that the England players were not consulted.</p>

<p>"I think from my experience, playing in England and also coach of England for six years, I think the guys are very open-minded and they know the circumstances of the world,"&nbsp;Ahmed, 51, said of the English players.</p>

<p>"I know them -- I played with lots of cricketers, I coached them for six years, I played (English) county cricket," he added.</p>

<p>"I think (the) players will definitely come now," he said, pointing out that a number of England players had featured in the Pakistan Super League in recent seasons.</p>

<p>Pakistan travelled a time when Covid&nbsp;infection rates in Britain were among the highest in the world for a three-match Test and T20 series that saved the ECB millions in television rights deals.</p>

<p>"If (a) team can travel in corona (virus) situation when the people were dying (in Britain) and Pakistan went to England and played a series, then they should have acknowledged that and they should respect that," said&nbsp;Ahmed.</p>

<p><strong>Becoming a hero</strong></p>

<p>Ahmed, who played 52 Tests, 144 one-day internationals and was a member of Pakistan's 1992 World Cup-winning team, said that other cricket tours and tournaments had gone ahead in countries where there had been terror attacks.</p>

<p>However, a deadly 2009 attack on the Sri Lanka team bus in Lahore saw Pakistan become a no-go destination for international teams.</p>

<p>In 2012 and 2015 Pakistan hosted England in the UAE, which has staged most of their "home" games since the attack.</p>

<p>Ahmed&nbsp;said having to play away from Pakistan was "very difficult" for the team.</p>

<p>"I am saying that because heroes become heroes when they play in front of their home crowds and that is when you start believing that you can represent your country -- you deserve that platform," he said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"When you play in Pakistan I remember that I used to feel different body language in me and used to have a different mindset," he added.</p>

<p>"I used to think that when you take a wicket, take a brilliant catch, the kind of reception from Pakistan people (is amazing).&nbsp;</p>

<p>"When you hit a six, the way the crowds used to shout, you become a hero."</p>

"I think (the) players will definitely come now," he said, pointing out that a number of England players had featured in the Pakistan Super League in recent seasons. "If (a) team can travel in corona (virus) situation when the people were dying (in Britain) and Pakistan went to England and played a series, then they should have acknowledged that and they should respect that," said Ahmed. Becoming a hero Ahmed, who played 52 Tests, 144 one-day internationals and was a member of Pakistan's 1992 World Cup-winning team, said that other cricket tours and tournaments had gone ahead in countries where there had been terror attacks. However, a deadly 2009 attack on the Sri Lanka team bus in Lahore saw Pakistan become a no-go destination for international teams. They have tried a lot of combinations lately and might be looking a bit more settled, but they haven't been really confident with it. So there is something for us in it to look at."</p>

<p>Pakistan have won three out of six Tests in two drawn series since 2016. 2-2 and 1-2 in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Pakistan remain to the only visiting tem to score 500+ in a Test in England since 2016. Azhar is optimistic about a win this time.</p>
