<p>Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, director Shashank Khaitan and producer Karan Johar have teamed up again delivering two hits together --&nbsp;<em>Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya </em>and <em>Badrinath ki Dulhaniya</em>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For their third film, as announced today, the trio have thought of a title which thankfully does not have the word &#39;Dulhaniya&#39; in it.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Titled <em>Rannbhoomi</em>, Dhawan&#39;s new film will tell the tale of a warrior.&nbsp;</p>

&ldquo;The makers want Karan to host another season of his popular show and have already discussed it with him. The only problem is that the filmmaker is busy with several things and the makers and he are yet to sit and decide when they would like to telecast it. 'Dhadak' shoot progressing rapidly, says Karan Johar

<p>India`s minister for women has warned Bollywood producers over sexual harassment in the Hindi film industry after a scandal that has brought down some leading Hollywood figures.<br />
<br />
Maneka Gandhi wrote to leading production houses reminding them that they are &quot;ethically and legally&quot; responsible for providing a &quot;safe, secure and inclusive work environment&quot; for all staff under Indian law.<br />
<br />
Bollywood has not so far faced the kind of allegations that have rocked the US film industry and led to the downfall of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.<br />
<br />
But last month a Bollywood actress said she had been harassed by an unnamed director early in her career.<br />
<br />
India`s Ministry of Women and Child Development said in a series of tweets late Wednesday that Gandhi had written letters to 24 producers urging them to comply with India`s 2013 sexual harassment act.</p>

<p>&quot;The aim of this law is to ensure that no woman is sexually harassed at her workplace,&quot; she wrote.&nbsp;<br />

&quot;This is to be followed in letter and spirit by all organisations in the country and I expect you to personally lead these efforts with sincerity and commitment, in accordance with all the applicable laws,&quot; Gandhi added.</p>

<p>It follows an interview that Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar gave to the Mumbai Mirror tabloid in November in which she said she had &quot;lost a few roles&quot; over the years because she &quot;didn`t give in&quot; to unwanted advances.</p>

<p>Bhaskar urged aspiring actresses to reject parts rather than &quot;get on the couch&quot;, a reference to the &quot;casting couch&quot; culture where young women are expected to exchange sexual favours to be cast in a film.<br />

The issue is almost never discussed in Indian media or talked about openly by Bollywood stars, but aspiring actors and actresses are known to regularly share their experiences of it privately.&nbsp;<br />

The filmmaker, who for the first time addressed the curiosity around his sexuality in his biography <em>An Unsuitable Boy</em>, on Saturday said the book was his final answer to the world and he will not get into any further details.<br />
&quot;I have never expressed my sexual orientation in those many words. I have insinuated a lot and have said what I wanted to say in my book.<br />

&quot;I will never say that I am embarrassed or ashamed to say it. I am very proud of who I am and who I will always be. Whatever I have written in the book is the truth and I stand by every word of it,&quot; Johar said at at a Media conclave.<br />
The filmmaker said people criticised him for not being direct about his orientation in the book and he still gets trolled on social media for it.<br />

Karan Johar on sexual orientation: I am proud of who I am

<p>Looks like 2018 is going to be a busy year for Vicky Kaushal. The actor has four releases next year making him one of the busiest actors of 2017-18. Vicky will be seen in a pivotal role in one of the most awaited films of 2018- Raju Hirani&rsquo;s Sanjay Dutt biopic and then Kaushal will be seen playing the lead in films like Meghna Gulzar&rsquo;s <em>Raazi,</em> Ronnie Screwvala&rsquo;s Love Per Square Feet and a film on URI surgical attack.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The latest news is that the actor has been roped in for the sequel of 2013&rsquo;s critically acclaimed film <em>Bombay Talkies</em>. Karan Johar will be directing one of the quartets of the series for which Vicky will be playing the lead. This would be the first time that Karan and Vicky will be trying their hands in the comedy genre. Vicky comes from a background of indie cinema whereas Karan has been associated completely with mainstream commercial cinema; seeing them both collaborating for the first time on a subject they never attempted before would prove as a litmus test.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sources close to the filmmaker says, &quot;The series will be an out and out comedy where Karan will unleash his creativity to the brim. Karan approached Vicky after seeing the rushes of <em>Raazi</em> and after giving screen test Vicky was selected to play the main lead. The final paperwork is yet to take place.&quot;&nbsp;</p>

Looks like 2018 is going to be a busy year for Vicky Kaushal. The actor has four releases next year making him one of the busiest actors of 2017-18. Vicky will be seen in a pivotal role in one of the most awaited films of 2018- Raju Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt biopic and then Kaushal will be seen playing the lead in films like Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi, Ronnie Screwvala’s Love Per Square Feet and a film on URI surgical attack. The latest news is that the actor has been roped in for the sequel of 2013’s critically acclaimed film Bombay Talkies. Karan Johar will be directing one of the quartets of the series for which Vicky will be playing the lead. This would be the first time that Karan and Vicky will be trying their hands in the comedy genre. Vicky comes from a background of indie cinema whereas Karan has been associated completely with mainstream commercial cinema; seeing them both collaborating for the first time on a subject they never attempted before would prove as a litmus test. Sources close to the filmmaker says, "The series will be an out and out comedy where Karan will unleash his creativity to the brim. Karan approached Vicky after seeing the rushes of Raazi and after giving screen test Vicky was selected to play the main lead. The final paperwork is yet to take place." <p>Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has been a part of remakes like <em>Devdas </em>and <em>Don</em>, said he loved introducing <em>Ittefaq</em> to a new generation as the Rajesh Khanna-starrer was his mother&#39;s favourite movie.</p>

<p>Shah Rukh has produced the remake of 1969 thriller with Karan Johar and BR Films. Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna feature in the new version that has been directed by Abhay Chopra.</p>

<p>&quot;When I was growing up, it was my mother&#39;s favourite film. Rajesh Khanna and Nanda<em> </em><em>ji</em> both were good. I found the story interesting. It is exciting for these two boys (Abhay and Kapil Chopra) to remake a classic,&quot; Shah Rukh said at a promotional event of the movie last night.</p>

<p>Calling the original film one of his favourite thrillers in Hindi cinema, Shah Rukh said, &quot;I have done <em>Devdas</em>, which would never be better than the classic (and) <em>Don</em>, which would never be better than Bachchan <em>sahab</em>&#39;s (version).</p>

<p>&quot;Somewhere down the line, (it is) just to reintroduce great cinema that perhaps passes the youngsters by. So<em> Ittefaq</em> is another move in that line. Hopefully, youngsters will like it,&quot; he added.</p>

<p>Shah Rukh, who worked with Yash Chopra on many films including the director&#39;s last one, <em>Jab Tak Hai Jaan</em>, said the filmmaker had narrated to him the story that inspired the original <em>Ittefaq</em>.</p>

<p>&quot;Before Yash ji passed away, he told how he made <em>Ittefaq</em>. He said he was making some film and there was a break and they decided to see a play. Then overnight they decided to make this movie for BR Films. It is based on a play and I found it interesting,&quot; he said.&nbsp;The film is set to release this Friday.</p>
