KJo, Shashank Khaitan announce hat-trick with Varun Dhawan: 'Rannbhoomi'

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, director Shashank Khaitan and producer Karan Johar have teamed up again delivering two hits together --Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya and Badrinath ki Dulhaniya.

For their third film, as announced today, the trio have thought of a title which thankfully does not have the word 'Dulhaniya' in it.

Titled Rannbhoomi, Dhawan's new film will tell the tale of a warrior.

Taking to Twitter, Dharma Productions tweeted: "Booking you guys for DIWALI 2020 with #RANNBHOOMI – a big war film starring homeboy @Varun_dvn. This time, the men from ‘Dulhania series’ take a giant leap in their 3rd offering into a solid spectacle with a beating heart! More soon! @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 @ShashankKhaitan."

Karan Johar also shared his excitement, writing: "'Rannbhoomi’ is Shashank’s colossal and ambitious imagination to attempt a hat-trick with Varun. Shashank and Varun make an epic blend of creative and commercial extravaganza, which is Dharma Productions’ vision for the next few projects.”

Varun Dhawan will next be seen in Sui Dhagaopposite Anushka Sharma and October.
