Al Shifa, the hospital Israel had alleged was being used by Hamas to hide its command centres and tunnels, is one of the hospitals being attacked, reports Reuters. Hamas militants have denied Israel's allegations.

The spokesperson for the Hamas-led Ministry of Health also claimed that Israel targeted Gaza City's medical complex's courtyard and that casualties have been reported. However, he did not provide any further details.

Qidra also said that the Al-Rantisi Paediatric Hospital and Al-Nasr Children's Hospital "have been witnessing a series of direct attacks and bombardments" on Friday.&nbsp;

He stated that the Israeli strikes on Al-Rantisi's hospital grounds had set vehicles on fire, which were partly extinguished later.

Palestinian media as per Reuters has published video footage, purportedly of Al Shifa, on Friday. The footage, which is being widely shared on X,&nbsp;shows the aftermath of an Israeli attack on a parking lot, where journalists and Displaced Palestinians were taking shelter.

It shows people yelling and screaming in panic as an explosion is heard in the background. A man can also be seen with his leg bent at an unnatural angle, lying next to a pool of blood.

As clamour grows for a ceasefire to be declared in the besieged Gaza city, reports are emerging that Qatar is negotiating with Israel and Hamas for the potential release of 10 to 15 hostages held in Gaza in exchange for a brief ceasefire.

The terror group is holding 239 hostages, including 25 Thai nationals, 21 Argentinians, 18 Germans, 10 Americans, seven French, seven Russians, four Hungarians, three Poles, three Portuguese, two Brits, two Filipinos, two Romanians and two Tanzanians.

The developments come after G7 countries called for “humanitarian pauses” to expedite humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians.

The CAIR called on individuals "to refrain from jumping to conclusions, sensationalizing such a tragedy for political gains, or spreading rumours that could unnecessarily escalate tensions that are already at an all-time high."

Condemning Kessler's death, Israeli opposition leader, Yair Lapid said "the man was killed because he was a jew".

"It is not because of Gaza, it is because of antisemitism," Lapid said in a post on X, adding, "This is what happens when protesters glorify Hamas and call to globalize the intifada."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been facing growing calls for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, said on Sunday (Nov 5) that there would be no ceasefire in the Palestinian enclave until over 200 Israeli hostages were freed by Hamas.&nbsp;"There will be no ceasefire without the return of the hostages. In Ankara later on Sunday, Blinken will hold talks with his &nbsp;Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is unlikely to meet Blinken as he would be on a planned tour.

Johnson, accompanied by former Australian PM Morrison, also paid a visit to Kibbutz Kfar Aza, the area which became the scene of devastation as Hamas militants launched their October 7 attack called Operation Al-Aqsa Floodgate.

The two leaders, along with Israeli soldiers and officials, also walked into some houses that were burned during the October 7 attacks.

Johnson, as reported by Reuters, said that he believed that the attacks, which killed over 1,400 Israelis, might suggest that the memory of the Holocaust is “starting to fade” but stressed that antisemitism "simply cannot be tolerated".

<h2>Memory of the Holocaust 'starting to fade'</h2>

Later, talking to the press, Johnson said he believed that the attacks, which killed over 1,400 Israelis, might suggest that the memory of the Holocaust is "starting to fade". He also stressed that antisemitism "simply cannot be tolerated".

"There's been no single attack like this on the Jewish people since the Second World War, and that's a matter of record," said Johnson.

"I think that maybe because across the world, the memory and the lesson of that appalling crime, where six million died, the memory may be starting to fade. And it may be that what we're really seeing right now, in some of these marches and these demos, and the unthinking way people are talking about this issue, what we're starting to see perhaps, I hope this really isn't the case, we're seeing more and more evidence of antisemitism."

"In the end, that is something that simply cannot be tolerated, neither in my country nor anywhere else," he emphasised.

In the attack, as per Israeli estimates, around 1,400 people were killed, while more than 230 were taken hostage by the militants. These kidnapped individuals, which involve foreign nationals and around 30 children, remain with the Hamas, amid calls for their release. As of Sunday, more than 9,770 Palestinians have been killed in the war, said Gaza health officials.

An Egyptian official told the news agency that the Egyptian side of the border was open as usual for any evacuees, but that crossings were suspended because of bombardments in Gaza. Cairo was "making genuine efforts to resume activity," the official added.

One month has passed since the Israel-Hamas war started and since the initial attack which sent shockwaves across West Asia, public anger has also continued to grow over the hostage crisis. Hamas gunmen are holding many captive in the Gaza Strip which is facing air raids every day, with some even on schools housing displaced innocent people.&nbsp;

Families of those held hostage in Gaza have been critical of the government's response and are calling for the safe return of their relatives.

In Tel Aviv, thousands also took to the streets, waving flags and displaying images of the captives in Gaza. Their signs bore slogans such as "Release the hostages now at all costs." The crowds were seen chanting "bring them home now."

One protester, Ofri Bibas-Levy, whose brother and two young nephews - four-year-old son Ariel and 10-month-old son Kfir - were among the hostages, expressed her concerns about their well-being in a conversation with Reuters.

She stated, "We don't know where they are, we don't know what condition they are kept in. I don't know if Kfir is getting food, I don't know if Ariel is getting enough food. He is a very small baby."

The United Arab Emirates on Friday (Nov 3) warned against the risk of regional spillover of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas further adding that it was making efforts "relentlessly" towards a humanitarian ceasefire.

"As we continue working to stop this war, we cannot ignore the wider context and the necessity to turn down the regional temperature that is approaching a boiling point," Noura Al Kaabi, a minister of state at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told a policy conference in the UAE's capital, Abu Dhabi.

"The risk of regional spillover and further escalation is real, as well as the risk that extremist groups will take advantage of the situation to advance ideologies that will keep us locked in cycles of violence."

As per news agency Reuters reports, the UAE said that it has planned to treat 1,000 Palestinian children from Gaza, but did not elaborate on how the kids would leave the besieged Palestinian enclave.

"We are working relentlessly to reach an immediate and full humanitarian ceasefire so life-saving aid could be delivered to the Gaza Strip," Al Kaabi said.

She further called for the safety of civilians and said that the upsurge in violence was an outcome of "decades of long failure" to find a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

UAE urges US to push for immediate end to the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza

At least 35 people have been killed after Israeli strikes on an ambulance convoy in Gaza City on Friday (Nov 3), and an attack “targeting” a school in northern Gaza on early Saturday (Nov 4), said the Hamas-run Palestinian health ministry.&nbsp;

The Israeli army confirmed that they struck an ambulance convoy near one of Gaza’s biggest hospitals saying that it was being used by the Palestinian militant group to transfer militants and weapons.&nbsp;

The strike has since garnered condemnation and criticism from the World Health Organization chief, the United Nations’ chief and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).&nbsp;

<h2>Israeli airstrike on ambulances</h2>

At least 15 people were killed and 60 others were injured after Israel struck a convoy of ambulances near the Al-Shifa hospital that was evacuating wounded people from the besieged north to the south of the territory, said the Hamas-run health ministry.&nbsp;

Ashraf al-Qudra, a spokesman for the ministry said that the convoy of ambulances was transporting critically wounded patients from the Al-Shifa hospital to the Rafah border crossing with Egypt when it was targeted in an Israeli attack.&nbsp;

The Israeli military later took responsibility for the attack and said it had identified and hit an ambulance “being used by a Hamas terrorist cell” in the battle zone, adding that a number of Hamas fighters had been killed in the strike.

They also accused the Palestinian militant group of transferring fighters and weapons in ambulances. However, Hamas officials Izzat El Reshiq and al-Qudra rejected the claim.&nbsp;

The Israeli military gave no evidence to support its assertion but said that they intended to release additional information.&nbsp;

This includes sparing civilians and civilian structures, but the death of civilians during a conflict does not necessarily constitute a war crime, since warring parties can launch attacks deemed proportionate on military targets knowing that civilians could also be hit.

James Elder, the United Nations Children's Fund's (UNICEF) spokesperson,&nbsp;said, "Gaza has become a graveyard for thousands of children".

According to UNICEF estimates, every day, more than 400 children are killed or injured in Gaza due to the Israeli offensive.&nbsp;

In a statement, the UN agency said that around 3,500 children have reportedly been killed, while more than 6,800 have been injured due to the "ongoing bombardment".

"This cannot become the new normal," it asserted, adding, "Children have endured too much already. The killing and captivity of children must stop. Children are not a target."

It is not just Gaza. Israeli children have also become victims of the bloodshed too. When Hamas militants launched their attack on October 7, about 1,400 Israelis were killed, among them babies and small children.

Hamas'&nbsp;underground tunnels have been described as "Gaza Metro" by Israeli authorities. These tunnels which run for miles underneath Gaza have long been a source of anxiety for Israeli forces.&nbsp;

As per The National report quoting officials in the Israeli military, specialist teams made up of Oketz or "sting" dog attack units and the Samur "Weasel" subterranean commandos will help deal with these tunnels.

These commandos, as per the report, have been trained in a specially built tunnel complex under the Negev Desert in Israel.&nbsp;

Reportedly, defence analysts have disclosed that the forces have used ground-penetrating radar and gravity detectors to map out the over 500-kilometre&nbsp;spiderweb tunnel system under Gaza.

Israel has also formed a force of combat engineers to locate the tunnels. This force is called Yahalom "Diamond" and has been trained to either destroy the tunnels or blow them up, to allow for a "hard entry" by the Samur and Oketz units.

The two units will drop into the tunnels that would likely have been blown open.

They will also use robots that have been developed by Tel Aviv company Roboteam. The company has developed IRIS, a 'throwbot', that boasts the capability to be operated remotely. The drone, which can provide critical insights and imagery from within the intricate tunnel network, is tailored to meet the demands of combat situations. It can even feature the capacity for attachments, such as weapons, ensuring enhanced capabilities for potential threats that may be seen during reconnaissance.

Alongside IRIS, Roboteam technology company has developed the MTGR (Micro Tactical Ground Robot). This as per reports, can navigate stairs and confined spaces like caves.

"It is a very complicated situation, and I'm not talking about the number of dead or number of kidnapped, namely the infrastructure of the lower city, of the tunnels, is a very delicate situation," said Omri Attar, a reserve major in a special operations brigade.

Tariq Hamouda and his wife&nbsp;still cannot fully comprehend that they've lost three generations of their family.&nbsp;Talking to CNN, Hamouda said that his wife, whose maiden name is Saqallah, lost four brothers, a sister, and their many children in what they claim were Israeli airstrikes. The explosions, as per the family, destroyed the Saqallah family compound in the Sheikh Ejleen neighbourhood of Gaza City on October 19.&nbsp;

"Up until last night, she is still denying (the loss)," said Hamouda.

He told CNN that of the 42 family members they lost, the youngest was aged just three months, and the oldest was around 77 years. Among the deceased were medical professionals, including eye and ENT doctors who operated Gaza's prominent family-owned eye clinics.

<h2>No warning given</h2>

As per Tariq Hamouda, before the strikes, the family received calls warning of military activity in the area, but they were not asked to evacuate.

"They have bombed houses with warnings and without warnings," he said, deploring the fear, and confusion faced by Palestinians.

Hamouda revealed that his mother-in-law, who was standing on the balcony when the first strike happened, managed to escape.&nbsp;

The Palestinian-American man said that a second strike obliterated the family house, killing dozens inside.&nbsp;

Hamouda and his family insist that the affected family members had no involvement in any militant activities and that they "had nothing to do with anything at all."

Abu Shaban underlined that their family consisted of ordinary civilians.

"We have no Hamas members [in our family]. They're just ordinary people: doctors and grandmothers and grandfathers and uncles and aunts and children," he lamented, adding, "I mean, if you want to exterminate Hamas then you should go to the source."

Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused the United States of stirring up the "deadly chaos" unfolding in the Middle East.

He has also charged the West and Ukraine of stirring up unrest inside Russia. This comes after anti-Israel protesters stormed the Makhachkala airport in Russia's predominantly Muslim Dagestan region.

<h2>Who's benefiting from the "deadly chaos"?</h2>

Speaking during a televised meeting with high-ranking members of his security council, Putin instigated that the US and Ukraine orchestrated the riot at the Russian airport via social media, and said, "The events in Makhachkala last night were instigated through social networks, not least from Ukraine, by the hands of agents of Western special services."

The Russian President claimed that there have been "attempts" to destabilise the Russian society.

Accusing the US of sowing instability in the Middle East, he questioned, "Who is organising the deadly chaos and who benefits from it today, in my opinion, has already become obvious… It is the current ruling elites of the US and their satellites who are the main beneficiaries of world instability."

Putin also said that in the wake&nbsp;to protect "interreligious harmony," Russian law enforcement needed to take "firm, timely and clear actions."

As per the news agency AFP, Russia regularly blames domestic unrest on external, usually Western forces.

Putin's allegations come after the Russian Foreign Ministry accused Ukraine of playing a "direct and key role" in the Makhachkala airport "provocation".

However, this accusation was labelled "absurd" by the US. Speaking to reporters on Monday, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said: "I've seen their comments about blaming Ukraine. That is absurd."

On Monday (Oct 30), a mob converged at the airport after a Telegram channel "Utro Dagestan" urged locals to meet the "uninvited guests" in "adult fashion" and to get them to turn around and fly somewhere else. As per AFP, while the channel didn't explicitly mention the word "Jew," it made reference to "unclean" passengers. The channel was banned later.

The Russian President claimed that there have been "attempts" to destabilise the Russian society. As Israel-Hamas war rages on, militant group's top brass enjoys luxury far from conflict

Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, another Gaza hospital has come under fire as per reports. On Sunday, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that the Israeli military was putting civilians at risk by repeatedly bombing near its Al-Quds hospital in central Gaza's Tel al-Hawa.

The medical organisation in a statement said that "the Israeli army deliberately continues to launch rockets directly near Al-Quds hospital with the aim of forcing medical staff, displaced individuals and patients to evacuate the hospital."

This, as per The Palestinian Red Crescent Society, has "caused significant damage to hospital departments and exposed residents and patients to suffocation".

Furthermore, as per the organisation, some 14,000 displaced people sheltering in the hospital are also affected by the Israeli bombing.

<h2>Evacuation ordered</h2>

Talking to news agency AFP, Hospital director Bashar Murad revealed that, on Sunday, twice, they received calls, and threats from Israeli forces asking them to evacuate the facility.

"We received strongly worded threats from the occupation (Israeli) forces to immediately evacuate Al-Quds hospital in the Gaza Strip as it will be bombed," he said.

On Facebook, the group said, "Since this morning, there has been raids 50 metres away from the hospital."

However, as per a military spokesperson, these calls were not threats, rather they were "part of the military's overall call asking people to head to the south" of the Gaza Strip.

Hamas-ruled Gaza's health ministry claims that&nbsp;during the course of war that erupted on October 7th, there have been 57 attacks on medical facilities. In a statement, the ministry said that as the fighting rages on, a dozen hospitals in Gaza are no longer functioning. Additionally, it claimed said that the war has claimed the lives of 116 health workers.
