"I am not happy that there is not a third Test. You have to blame the T20 cricket going around the world for that," de Villiers said on his YouTube channel.&nbsp;

"I do not know whom to blame, but I sense something is wrong. If you want to see all the teams compete and see who is the best Test team in the world, something has to change,” he added.&nbsp;

Although he backed the top-tier players for choosing SA20 over the New Zealand Test series considering the financial stability, Conrad was equally critical of those preparing the international and franchise-based league schedules, saying both schedules shouldn’t have collided in the first place.

"Yes, there was a cock-up, or somebody got it wrong with the scheduling, and this is why we find ourselves here," he said. "It's unfortunate but we all saw the value of the league last year."

The CSA, however, has responded to this concern, saying they will ensure the SA20 is not colliding with South Africa’s international schedule despite the already-prepared FTP.

“After watching this Test series, the Indian cricket establishment should make sure to never play just two Tests,” Shastri said.

“If some country invites you for a two-Test series, say, ‘We won’t go’. Two-Test match series are a waste of time. It’s neither here nor there. The focus should be on either playing T20Is and Test matches or ODIs and Test matches. They could have easily played 3 T20Is and 3 Tests [on this tour],” he added.

“This should be reciprocal – ‘When you come touring, we’ll give you a strong team for a four-day game. Be it a Board President’s XI, or whatever, we’ll give you a talented, young team. Similarly, when we tour and ask for a game, we should get good players for that game.’

“This board-to-board [conversation] can happen. After all, every board wants India to tour. Because they know that is where their sustenance lies. When India tours, they earn cash. So, at least give us a proper first-class game. Then we’ll tour,” the former India coach added.

Donald said though Rabada is skillful enough to make the ball talk on any surface, his mantra to success has been the position he gets into before he delivers and the consistency that follows after he bowls.

“If you look at Dale Steyn, he brought that thirst for consistency for himself, and KG is no different as he is such a hungry individual. I see in him to be the absolute best competitor on the field that he can be,” Donald added.&nbsp;

Although two top stream seamers – Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi, are out with respective injuries, the South African pace attack is still far better than their opponents.

Speaking on the prospects of South Africa producing youngsters at that pace, Donald said,&nbsp;"…but I think this attack I think has got a future in front of them you have got a guy in the name of Rabada who is leading this attack beautifully, who is an outstanding performer and leader of the pack." &nbsp;

Former South Africa seamer Allan Donald has warned Indian bowlers to be more mindful, disciplined and patient with their line and lengths at the Newlands in Cape Town if India is to eye a comeback in this two-match Test series.

Donald said he felt the visiting team was trying too hard for things to happen in the first Test, which they lost by an innings and 32 runs within three days.

In an exclusive chat with the PTI, Donald said the home team bowlers bowled within the wicket-taking area, while the Indian seamers kept it too short, resulting in failing to build pressure and getting crumbled in the end.

"I know South Africa probably got the better of the conditions, no questions about that. They pitched the ball in a 5- and 5.5-meter area and gave it a chance to do something off the deck. But what they did better than India…they were more patient in that area, and even they used the short ball a little bit more in the second innings," Donald told PTI.&nbsp;

The Proteas veteran added that Indian bowlers must stick with their plans and show more patience in Cape Town (where the surface on offer would be relatively flat).&nbsp;

"Come Cape Town, it will be hard work, and there will be a lot more energy from both teams. Cape Town will be hard work, and it will bring honesty out of both the attacks," Donald added. “You need to be more creative in Cape Town as wickets are a lot more flatter and partnerships will stretch, and that's traditionally as someone who knows it will be tougher Tests.”&nbsp;

<h2>Spinners might&nbsp;get little help (but later)</h2>

Backing the wicket at Newlands to assist seamers throughout, Donald said he expects spinners to come into play at some point in the game. However, he added the curator for the second Test is unlikely to offer any helping hand to India on that front.&nbsp;

"There might be some little bit (assistance) available for spinners later on, but it's not going to happen. India in South Africa, there's no way that will bring Indian spinners into it.
