Speaking to the press ahead of the fourth Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Rohit Sharma said his knee is doing fine and will be available for selection in the traditional contest. On the other hand, he has also backed the likes of Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill to come good in the series as India chase a spot in the World Test Championship (WTC) final.

According to several media reports in Australia, Nathan McSweeney’s performance has not impressed the selectors in the ongoing Boder-Gavaskar Trophy, with Sam Konstas in the frame for a spot in the Playing XI. The Boxing Day Test is set to start on December 26 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). India has had an impressive record at the venue.
