Maxwell's manager Ben Tippett clarified that the all-rounder is not under investigation by Cricket Australia (CA) for the late-night party incident.

He told The Age, "Glenn is a little embarrassed by the whole thing. He was a bit sore and sorry on Saturday, but he's back in Melbourne and resumed training yesterday. He's not under investigation by Cricket Australia."

CA also released a statement saying that Maxwell's exclusion from Australia's ODI squad&nbsp;for the WI series has no relation to the late-party incident. The statement confirmed that the 35-year-old will return for the T20I series.

"Cricket Australia is aware of an incident involving Glenn Maxwell in Adelaide at the weekend and is seeking further information," a statement said. "It is not related to him being replaced in the ODI squad, a decision that was made following the BBL and based on his individual management plan. Maxwell is expected to return for the T20 series. No further comment will be made at this time," it added.

In 2022, Maxwell fractured his leg in multiple places while attending a private party following Australia's T20 World Cup debacle at home. Thus, this isn't the first such instance and the veteran cricketer will be wary of his actions going forward.

Chasing a moderate 130 on day four, Australia lost Khawaja in the first over, trapped in front by off-spinner Sajid Khan for a duck. Warner and Marnus (62*) scored at over five per over as both stitched a 119-run stand to see their team through.

Meanwhile, the day began with Australia sitting in the driver’s seat, having triggered a collapse in the final half an hour the day before, with Pakistan’s scorecard reading 67 for seven at stumps. Their two in-form players, Mohammad Rizwan and seamer Aamer Jamal, who scored a brilliant 82 in the first innings, showed some resistance but couldn’t stick along for long as Australia wrapped up the formalities soon after.

With Pakistan all out on 115 in their final innings on the tour Down Under, they gave themselves little chance to push for an unlikely Test win – something they haven’t achieved since last winning at this venue in 1996.

However, a win in Sydney for Australia meant they won all three Tests and maintained their winning streak over Pakistan in this format at home.&nbsp;

Australia captain Pat Cummins was the big difference between the two sides in this recently-contested Test series, having picked 19 wickets in three games, including three five-wicket hauls.

“Really happy with how I performed. Don’t think I have to take too much credit for that,” Cummins said after receiving the Player of the Series award.

Australia all-rounder Cameron Green has revealed that he was born with chronic kidney disease. Green, who is not part of the Pat Cummins-led Australia XI for their ongoing first&nbsp;Test versus Pakistan in Perth, shared that at one stage he had a life expectancy of just 12.&nbsp;

The 24-year-old Green, who made his international debut in 2020, has already been part of Australia's Ashes 2023 campaign, where they retained the urn with a 2-2 scoreline in England, WTC 2023 win and ODI World Cup triumph last month. Talking on Channel 7, Green revealed more about the disease and how he has to be careful to&nbsp;manage&nbsp;his professional career. He, however, narrated an incident where he had a concerning episode while playing an ODI last year.

Green told, "My parents got told when I was born that I had chronic kidney disease. Basically, there's no symptoms, it was just picked up through ultrasounds. Chronic kidney disease is basically a progressive disease of your kidney's health function. Unfortunately, mine doesn't filter the blood as well as other kidneys. They're at about 60% at the moment which is stage two."

"I consider myself very lucky that I'm not as affected physically by chronic kidney disease as other people who are affected by the same thing. With chronic kidney disease there's five stages, with stage one being the least severe, and stage five being transplant or dialysis. Fortunately, I'm stage two, but if you don't look after them enough, it goes back down. Kidneys can't get better. It's irreversible. So anything you can do to slow the progression, you basically try and do," the youngster mentioned.

Green's disease was picked up during his mother Bee Tracey's pregnancy. It was detected when she had her 19-week pregnancy scan. His father Gary further revealed that at one stage Green's&nbsp;life expectancy was very low and he was not expected to live beyond the age of 12.&nbsp;

In this regard, Gary&nbsp;stated, "At the time it was unchartered territory as such, the prognosis wasn't great. There were life expectancy issues that he might not expect to live past twelve years of age."

Meanwhile, Green narrated an incident where he suffered considerable pain while representing Australia in an ODI, in Cairns, versus New Zealand in 2022. Back then, he made an impressive 89 not out in his side's&nbsp;successful 233-run chase after bowling five overs (0 for 33) and fielding the full 50 overs.

Recalling the match, Green said, "I think it was pretty well documented that I had a pretty long day of bowling and a pretty long bat as well, and then had a cramping episode. It took me a long time to realise that it was probably my kidney function that was affecting my cramping. NZ fell short against Australia after the trans-Tasman rival&nbsp;posted a mammoth target of 389, batting first at a belter of a Dharamsala pitch on Saturday (Oct 28) evening.&nbsp;

Speaking at the post-match ceremony, Latham said the game had a lots of 'ebbs and flows' and that his side came back into the contest after losing the initiative early.&nbsp;

"It was a fantastic game with lots of ebbs and flows. Obviously, it hurts after coming this close. They put us on the back foot with that opening partnership," said Latham.&nbsp;

"We pulled things back with a couple of key wickets but they struck some key partnerships at the back end."

Latham, who is currently filling in for an injured Kane Williamson as the captain said the Kiwis needed to "play a perfect game", in order to stand a chance to chase the big total.&nbsp;
