I am going to leave, says coach Mauricio Pochettino after Tottenham enter Champions League final

Lucas Moura conjured the second Champions League miracle in 24 hours with a last-gasp winner to complete his hat-trick and a 3-2 win to send Tottenham Hotspur past a shattered Ajax Amsterdam into the final on away goals on Wednesday.

A day after Liverpool beat Barcelona 4-0 to overturn a 3-0 first-leg deficit, Tottenham came back from the dead after Ajax had looked certain to reach their first final for 23 years.

"I think that scoring the hat-trick. Three goals. If our players are superheroes, he is a super, super, superhero," Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino said of Moura's stellar night.

When asked about his departure from the club, Pochettino said, "Yes, I am going to leave (Tottenham), or if I lose, maybe too."

Tottenham had suffered three consecutive defeats in all competitions before Wednesday's second leg and when Ajax led 2-0 at half-time, there was a celebratory mood inside the jam-packed Johan Cruyff Arena as Ajax fans' thoughts turned to Madrid.

But their joy turned into a nightmare as they were overwhelmed by a Tottenham side who dispensed with complicated tactics and simply threw the kitchen sink at their hosts.

"I learned a sentence here which is 'no pain, no gain'. And I think it's an amazing thing, because all the efforts we made in the last five years, it's today when you realize that the satisfaction'', Spurs'coach said.

Overwhelmed by the win, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino added, "The emotion is amazing, thank you to football. My players are heroes - in the last year, I was telling everyone this group are heroes. The second half they were amazing.''

"It's difficult to compete at this level. I am so grateful to be a coach. To be in football and to live this type of football'', Pochettino said.
