6th ODI IND vs SA: Shardul Thakur strikes thrice, South Africa 148-6 after 36 overs

South Africa lost early wickets and struggles in the ongoing match. None of the batsmen were effective in front of the Indian bowling attack.

India has already created history by winning the One Day International series in the South African soil as they lead the series with an unassailable4-1.

Earlier the Proteas had won the Teat series of the same tour and Indian team faced a volcano of trolls and criticism for not performingup to the mark.

Unsurprisingly, men in blue shut the backbiters by beating the South African side in all departments, be it batting, bowling, fielding and decision making in the ODI series.

The Proteas were also overshadowed by a series of injuries as their stars players like AB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis and Quinton de Kock were ruled out amid ODI series.

AB marked his come back in the 4th ODI but remained ineffective as Indian team played brilliantly well throughout the series.

There were few loopholesin the Indian squad as well when opener Rohit Sharma remainedout of form in the limited overs format until the last ODI when he slammed a magnificent century and regainthe momentum.

The middlebatting order is still bit weak and the issue of number four spot has to resolve as soon as possible because Virat is doing a lot of experimentation with spot number four it has to be resolvedbefore World Cup 2019.

The bowlers are doing an amazing job and the highlights of India bowling sideare Bhuvi unmatchable seam and the Spin Twins (Kuldeep-Chahal). They have delivered some mesmerizing spell and created records.

Where on one hand, the Indian team, world number one, will enter with a high to wrap up the series with a 5-1 score, on the other hand, the South African side will be looking to salvage the cricketing pride.
