The relatives of the imprisoned men staged a protest demanding the release of Pakistanis lodged in China prisons.
People from the restive Gilgit region staged yet another protest on Saturday, appealing the Pakistan government to bring back prisoners from China.
Calling the relationship between China and Pakistan " totally fallacious", a former prisoner released from the jail in Chinasaid that nobody is aware of the reality of the relationship between the two countries. They just show off (their friendship) to the world.
"I spent 10 years in a Chinese prison. I appeal to the Pakistan Government to bring back prisoners from China. I feel ashamed as the China- Pakistan friendship is totally fallacious. They just show off to the world, but nobody is aware of the reality."
