According to the statement released by the Telangana Fire Disaster Response Emergency and Civil Defence the fire broke out on the ground floor and spread to the second floor of the building at Gulzar House, Charminar. &nbsp;A fire department officials received a call around 6.30 am and rushed to the spot. Eleven fire tenders were rushed to the spot and have been fighting the blaze.&nbsp;Union Minister G Kishan Reddy met with the family members of the affected.&nbsp;"I met the family members. Such incidents are very sad. I am not accusing anyone, but police, municipality, fire and electricity departments must be made stronger. I was told the firefighters today did not have proper equipment initially. We must bring better technology in the coming days. I will talk to the central government and the Prime Minister and try to get financial help for the families of those who died in this incident," he said.&nbsp;Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has expressed shock over the incident and asked officials to step up relief efforts and ensure the best treatment for those injured.&nbsp;The PMO too has expressed grief over the incident and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the families of the deceased.&nbsp;"Deeply anguished by the loss of lives due to a fire tragedy in Hyderabad, Telangana. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. May the injured recover soon. An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000", the PMO tweeted.

The features on the Earth's surface (buildings, trees, mountains, water bodies, roads) reflect these radar waves back to the satellite. It is by collecting and processing the reflected radar waves that RISAT can provide the end product, which is round-the-clock, all-weather imagery. While conventional Optical satellite images are in colour, radar satellite images are inherently black and white.&nbsp;The launch of this strategic satellite comes a week after Nuclear-armed neighbours India and Pakistan announced a ceasefire, following three days of a rapidly escalating war-like situation. However, it must be emphasised that the space launch mission taking place at this time is a mere coincidence. The PSLV rocket takes a little over a month to assemble, and it takes well over a year to build a satellite like EOS-09. New Delhi: India has issued a new trade directive sharply limiting the entry of Bangladeshi ready-made garments (RMG), a critical export for Bangladesh, to only two Indian seaports: Kolkata and Nhava Sheva in Mumbai. The move closes all land ports previously used for these imports, which are worth over $700 million annually, signalling a significant shift in trade policy.
The shift comes, most likely in response to Bangladeshi actions, as the Yunus government had imposed port restrictions on the export of Indian yarn via land ports, allowing Indian yarn exports only via seaports (from 13th April). Indian exports have been subjected to rigorous inspections on entry, and Indian rice exports are not allowed through Hili and Benapole Integrated Check Posts (ICPs) since 15th April.&nbsp;
The Indian decision will bolster the country&rsquo;s domestic garment industry but could stifle Bangladesh&rsquo;s RMG sector, a cornerstone of its economy that accounts for a major part of its total exports. Bangladeshi exporters will now face increased costs and logistical challenges, routing shipments through Chittagong port to India&rsquo;s designated seaports.

Restrictions also apply to LCS Changrabanda and Fulbari to prevent rerouting by Bangladesh.
An Indian official, speaking anonymously, emphasised reciprocity and said that &ldquo;Indian market access can&rsquo;t be taken for granted. Bangladesh cannot dictate terms to solely benefit itself.&rdquo; The official noted that while Bangladesh enjoyed unrestricted access to India&rsquo;s Northeast, it imposed high transit fees&mdash;1.8 taka per tonne per kilometre&mdash;on Indian goods and restricted non-essential northeastern exports.

Sanjay was smoking a cigarette on the roadside along with his friend, when the accused 31-year-old Prateek, a resident of Rajarajeshwari Nagar, working as a manager at a private company arrived at the spot in his car and asked Sanjay to buy a cigarette for him while he sat in his car.
Sanjay reportedly refused to fetch the cigarette and slammed Prateek's lazy and entitled behaviour which enraged him leading to a heated argument between them.
The situation was defused after locals intervened, after which Prateek left the place fuming and parked his vehicle a short distance away.
Later, Sanjay and Chetan were heading back to their office on the former's motorcycle, when Prateek allegedly rammed his car into their bike from behind causing severe head injury to Sanjay, who hit the pavement. He was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries, reported ANI.
His friend Chetan, who was riding pillion, also sustained serious injuries and is currently hospitalised.
The incident occurred at Vasanthapura Cross on Kanakapura Road and the CCTV footage of the horrific incident is with the police that is investigating the case for more details. The accused has been arrested.

Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal on Saturday demanded bold actions from the Indian government, saying it should amend the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) by adding a schedule and subsequently declare Pakistan a terrorist state under it. The exodus of so many councillors from AAP points to a serious discontent in the party that was routed by the BJP in the assembly polls in February. AAP has been plagued by internal strife since the assembly poll results came in. AAP had carried out an organisational shake-up in March to stem the discontent by appointing former minister Saurabh Bharadwaj as the new president of its Delhi unit. Former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia was appointed in charge of Punjab, where assembly elections are due in 2027.

The rebel leaders include Mukesh Goel, the leader of the house for AAP in the MCD, Himani Jain, and others. The councillors, under the leadership of Goel, announced a new party called Indraprastha Vikas Party. “About 15 councillors have resigned from the primary membership of Aam Aadmi Party and formed a new party, Indraprastha Vikas Party. Despite being in power, we could not work for the service of the people of Delhi. AAP had boycotted the election after its loss in assembly polls. Goel himself had switched to AAP from Congress in 2021. He has served as a municipal councillor for 25 years. The government of India in a bid to expose Pakistan-sponsored terrorism on the global stage has set up seven all-party delegations that will visit key partner countries later this month.
The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs in a press release on Saturday said, "In the context of Operation Sindoor and India's continued fight against cross-border terrorism, seven All-Party Delegations are set to visit key partner countries, including members of the UN Security Council."
The Members of Parliament chosen to lead the seven delegations are Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, Ravi Shankar Prasad of BJP, Sanjay Kumar Jha (JDU), Baijayant Panda (BJP) Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (DMK) Supriya Sule of NCP and Shrikant Eknath Shinde of the Shiv Sena.
Soon after the announcement was made Congress leader thanked the government for entrusting him with the responsibility.
Taking to the micro-blogging site X Tharoor wrote "I am honoured by the invitation of the government of India to lead an all-party delegation to five key capitals, to present our nation&rsquo;s point of view on recent events. When national interest is involved, and my services are required, I will not be found wanting."

After the Indian government revoked security clearance of Celebi Airport Services, a Turkish firm that handles a large part of services at nine major airports in India, over concerns regarding national security, Celebi Aviation has filed a legal petition in Delhi High Court challenging the Indian government&rsquo;s decision.

The company in its petition has argued that "vague" national security concerns were cited without reasoning, reported news agency Reuters.
It further urged the court to set aside the decision citing that 3,791 jobs and investor confidence would be impacted. It also claimed that no warning was issued before announcing the decision.
"Mere rhetoric of national security without elaborating upon in what manner is an entity a threat to national security is unsustainable in law," said Celebi Aviation in its petition to the court, reported the news agency.
<h2>Revocation of security clearance of Celebi Airport Services</h2>
The Centre's decision on revoking security clearance of Celebi Airport Services came on Thursday ( May 15) in the wake of Turkey's support for Pakistan during the India-Pakistan conflict after Operation Sindoor.&nbsp;
"The security clearance in r/o Celebi Airport Services India Pvt. Ltd, under the category Ground Handling Agency was approved by DG, BCAS vide letter no. 15/99/2022-Delhi-BCAS/E-219110 dated 21.11.2022," read the statement released by the Civil Aviation Ministry.
"In the exercise of power conferred upon DG, BCAS, the security clearance in r/o Celebi Airport Services India Pvt. Ltd is hereby revoked with immediate effect in the interest of National Security. This issues with the approval of DG, BCAS," the statement further read.
<h2>Turkey, Pakistan Association</h2>
In the recent months, there has been a growing proximity between Turkey and Pakistan in terms of strategic defence ties. The Turkish government along with supplying military hardware, has also conducted military training for Pakistani army.
The Turkish alignment to Pakistan and the help it has provided to Islamabad against New Delhi despite the dastardly attack in Pahalgam carried out by terrorists having links to Pakistan has led to a severe backlash in India.

Ramp handling, warehouse management, passenger and cargo operations, bridge operations, general aviation are the services it provides.
Coming into India, the company formally established two separate entities - Celebi Airport Services and Celebi Delhi Cargo Terminal Management India. The former manages ground handling operations, while the latter oversees cargo services at Delhi International Airport. The firm provides services at nine major airports in India.

Revocation of security clearance of Celebi Airport Services The Centre's decision on revoking security clearance of Celebi Airport Services came on Thursday ( May 15) in the wake of Turkey's support for Pakistan during the India-Pakistan conflict after Operation Sindoor. "The security clearance in r/o Celebi Airport Services India Pvt. Ltd, under the category Ground Handling Agency was approved by DG, BCAS vide letter no. 15/99/2022-Delhi-BCAS/E-219110 dated 21.11.2022," read the statement released by the Civil Aviation Ministry. "In the exercise of power conferred upon DG, BCAS, the security clearance in r/o Celebi Airport Services India Pvt. Ltd is hereby revoked with immediate effect in the interest of National Security. This issues with the approval of DG, BCAS," the statement further read. Turkey, Pakistan Association In the recent months, there has been a growing proximity between Turkey and Pakistan in terms of strategic defence ties. The Turkish government along with supplying military hardware, has also conducted military training for Pakistani army. Celebi Aviation and it's business in India Turkey's Celebi Aviation Holding was founded in 1958 as the country's first privately-owned ground handling firm, which has grown into a global aviation services provider. Ramp handling, warehouse management, passenger and cargo operations, bridge operations, general aviation are the services it provides. Coming into India, the company formally established two separate entities - Celebi Airport Services and Celebi Delhi Cargo Terminal Management India. The former manages ground handling operations, while the latter oversees cargo services at Delhi International Airport. The firm provides services at nine major airports in India.
