The notice followed a Bombay High Court order instructing protesters to clear Mumbai’s streets by noon, noting the city was “literally paralysed” by the stir, PTI reported.&nbsp;“Even if I die, I’ll not leave Mumbai till demands are met,” he said once again. However, he directed his supporters to follow court orders and not to make trouble for the people of Mumbai. “You travel by public transport. Don’t bring vehicles. Even if I die, don’t resort to violence. By 7 am, the level of water inched up further to 205.75 metres after the river received more discharges from the three barrages.&nbsp;Authorities, on high alert after Haryana’s record water release, have advised residents of the Yamuna floodplains to shift to safer locations, with the river expected to touch the 206-metre evacuation mark by evening, according to a report by Business Standard.<h3>Closure of traffic and public movement announced</h3>Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta assured on Monday that the government is completely prepared to handle the situation. “The Delhi government and all departments are fully alert. The situation is being monitored 24 hours a day. The extensive desilting work done in the Yamuna and drains in the last six months is now showing clear benefits. All the gates are open, and water is not stagnating anywhere. <h2>Two snatchers arrested in Delhi</h2>In a separate development, a 25-year-old man was arrested by Delhi Police along with a scrap dealer for their alleged involvement in several snatching cases. The police uncovered seven stolen mobile phones from the snatcher.&nbsp;The incident came to light after a 59-year-old school teacher was targeted after the snatcher attempted to snatch her handbag containing cash, documents and a phone on August 28 in West Jyoti Nagar, officials said.&nbsp;Police said that the arrested individual was identified as Amir, is a resident of New Mustafabad. The cops also recovered a stolen mobile phone registered in another case at Bhajanpura from his possession.&nbsp;During interrogation, Amir allegedly confessed to having sold other stolen mobile phones to a scrap dealer. Based on his statement, police carried out a raid and arrested 19-year-old Juber, a resident of Janta Mazdoor Colony. Officials said six additional mobile phones, including the complainant’s handset, were recovered from him. The case remains under investigation.
