The ministry of Human Resource Development has formed a high powered committee in order to prevent exam leak and to examine the system of conducting Class X and Class XII examination.
The seven-member committee will have Retired Secretary (Higher education) of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Vinay Sheel Oberoi as its chairperson.
The prime objectives of the committee would to revisit and closely examine all aspects whether it is related to security checks built into the system, to ensure that, question papers reach the examinees from printing presses without any tempering.
It will also assess the weak areas in the present system of transporting question papers and to find loopholes in the process.
Reports say that the committee is planning to increase the use technology to minimize the human intervention after the evaluation of entire process ends.
The committee has been formed amid the Central Bureau of Secondary Education exam leak
CBSE's class XII Economics and class X Mathematics exams were leaked by an inter-state racket last month.
On April 7, Police arrested three persons --a teacher, clerk and support staff -- over the leak of CBSE Class XII Economics paper which was leaked in handwritten form, from Himachal Pradesh.
