The directive has been sent to all heads and managers of CBSE-affiliated schools. Schools are required to fully comply with the updated safety measures to maintain their affiliation with the Board. It reiterates that ensuring student safety is a primary responsibility of every school.

According to CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, the board exams will be conducted in two phases, the first in February and the second in May.

To successfully pass the Class 10 examination, students are required to secure a minimum of 33 per cent in each subject. In certain cases where a candidate falls slightly short of this threshold, the board may choose to grant grace marks
