The Amarnath Yatra, which was earlier suspended due to inclement weather conditions, resumed on Saturday afternoon.
According to news agency ANI, theYatra resumedfrom both the on-foot routes (Baltal and Pahalgam).
Air sorties by administration also resumed from Baltal.

The Yatra whichwas to start from June 28 was later suspended due to heavy rainfall in the valley.
A flood alert was sounded in the south and central Kashmir after many parts of the state were lashed by monsoon rains intermittently since June 27, leaving thousands of pilgrims who have reached the twin base camps of Baltal in Ganderbal district and Pahalgam in Anantnag district stranded.
