Wizards Beyond Waverly Place
Selena Gomez and David Henrie are officially back as Justin and Alex for the Wizards of Waverly Place revival series titled Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. The makers shared a fun and emotional behind-the-scenes video to mark their return to the set of the beloved Disney show.
The clip begins with a producer introducing the lead cast to the audience as they arrive on the set. "This is where it all started. We're home," said Gomez. Next, we see Henrie taking fans around the new Russo home and introducing new characters to the series.
We also saw the series' original theme song, Gomez' "Everything Is Not What It Seems" playing along with a montage. In the end, Gomez says, "We're back!"

Janice LeAnn Brown will play the powerful, young wizard Billie, Alkaio Thiele will be seen as Justin’s eldest son Roman and Mimi Gianopulos as Justin's wife Giada.
According to an official synopsis, the series "picks up after a mysterious incident at WizTech, where an adult Justin Russo has left his wizard powers behind, opting for a normal, human life with his wife and two sons. But he gets a surprise when a powerful young wizard in need of training shows up at his door… and Justin must embrace his past to ensure the future of the Wizard World."
Both Henrie and Gomez will serve as executive producers on the new series along with Jed Elinoff, Scott Thomas, Gary Marsh, and Andy Fickman, who will also direct it.
The series will premiere on Disney Channel and Disney+ later this year.
