
Netflix on Wednesday released pictures of the cast of The Crownin their attire and while in action -- shooting for the upcoming third season of the fan favourite show.
Get used to the idea of actress Helena Bonham Carter essay the role of Princess Margaret, in a change from Vanessa Kirby who played the royal’s role in the first two seasons. As the show progresses in terms of phasesof The Queen’s era, the characters go through a major change in age and thus the makers have decided to change the cast appropriately.
Speaking about her role in the show, Carter said, “I’m not sure which I’m more terrified about – doing justice to the real Princess Margaret or following in the shoes of Vanessa Kirby’s Princess Margaret. Netflix also released the first image of Ben Daniels as Antony Armstrong-Jones, Margaret’s photographer husband.

The princess and Armstrong-Jones, also known as Lord Snowdon, were married in 1960 and divorced in 1978. Ben Daniels takes over the role from Matthew Goode. On the show, Daniels said,“Snowdon was such a dynamic and complex man. I’m really looking forward to playing him.”
The Crown has currently bagged 13 Emmy nominations including Vanessa Kirby'snomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
The Crown’s Season 3 is scheduled for a 2019 launch.
