Touted to be the biggest film of the year, Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer âSaahoâ has set the box office on fire as it recorded the best Sunday of the year despite negative reviews. Even though the critics didnât write rave reviews of the film, it has gone on to collect Rs 29.48 crore on Sunday taking the total collection to Rs 79 crore. Read our review here.
âSaahoâ has beaten Shahid Kapoor starrer âKabir Singhâ that collected Rs 27.91 crore in its third day collections. It also beat Akshay Kumarâs âMission Mangalâ as it collected Rs 27.54 crore and Salman Khanâs âBharatâ that made Rs 27.90 crore.

The film released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam simultaneously in India and other parts of the world.
âSaahoâ has a lot of money riding on it as it was made at the cost of Rs 350 crore with a number of technicians and crew hired from the Hollywood industry to make the action sequences look real.
According to a media report, in all languages combines, the film has collected Rs 88 crore nett and Rs 101 crore gross on the first day which makes it the second film after âBahubali 2: The Conclusionâ to hit the Rs 100 crore gross mark on day one.
Directed by Sujeeth, the film also stars Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay, Murali Sharma amongst others.
